Dads and Special Guy’s Day 2021
Dad’s Day 2021 was a blast! Our dads and special guys traveled to Iowa City to compete in a bags tournament on Chi O’s lawn. We kicked the day off with a New Member Brunch at the house led by our Parent’s Club Director, Laurel Degen. Our new member families were invited to enjoy breakfast at the house, meet our executive board, and tour our chapter structure. The brunch is always a great opportunity for our new members and their parents to get to know Chi O and each other better! It was a great way to kick off Dad’s Weekend!
For the bags tournament there were over 110 teams competing for the prize, and Abby Roberts and her father came out on top! Go Abby and Mr. Roberts! Thank you to everyone that competed, and better luck next year :-)
After the bags tournament, we all headed over to Big Grove Brewery to enjoy some delicious appetizers and cheer on some college football. It was a blast meeting everyone’s families and we are so grateful for everyone that made the trip to Iowa City to spend the day with us!
Big thanks to our External Sisterhood Directors Emma Ford and Libbie Pavon for planning such a fun Dad’s Day!
Next up on the blog, we caddied to raise money for Make-A-Wish at our annual Golf Classic!
